;D Hi everyone, got out on the Vedder river with Chilliwangler, on the water at 1:30 and tried all day for some CoHo, All in all it was a beautiful paddle and peddle. Len caught a trout and did a long distance release{spit the hook}. It was my first time on a river with my Hobie, and I learned a few things for next time. Like bring a rope to tie off, so you can cover a pool better. We got back to launch at 8:30, I really am beginning to like kayak fishing. Going to try for CoHo again soon. Thanks for looking Dan.

Is that the rail road bridge just down stream from the hwy 1 bridge in the back ground?

I've always been a ground pounder on the Vedder. Gotta love those big white springs! Will be up on Thursday with floats & peach yarn fishing across from the trailer park.

Yes Wolverine,  That's the bridge just north of HWY 1, My first time on the river by kayak. Even if you don't catch fish it is still a great trip. Might be getting out again next week or so.  Dan
