Lake Whitman Report

Went out in the Yak to Lake Whitman this morning. Fished from 9am - Noon & cought two trout. Must of lost 5 more. I figured out you really need to let them eat the worm before setting the hook. Only two other boats on the lake. I like whitman because its only a few miles from my house and no motor boats allowed.

#8 baitholder hook w/ half a nightcrowler worm, #2 split shot 18" above, Bobber 18" above split shot & 4lb test line. Been using this rig since I was a kid with great results. If fish are on the bottom, just remove the bobber & blow the worm or add power bait or marshmellow to keep off the bottom..
