It was just a tad breezy yesterday and I only caught 2 kokanee in about 6 hrs. of paddling.  Waves were 2 to 3 ft in the open areas making for lots of fun except I didn't really need to cool off in 50 degree weather.

It took about an hour to get back to the launch.  My paddle caught the wind at a right angle just perfectly one time and I almost flipped over.  Hmmm?  Seemed a little breezier than the forecast 10-15 mph winds.

Can't get any AOTY pts. for the effort either since our digital camera is in GA, and my cell was out of juice.  :sad2:

Did I mention that it was a bit breezy?

Thanks for the update. I plan on paddling Alder soon, but not in a wind storm

I think I will try Whitman or Kapowsin on Thursday and Mayfield this weekend
