That looks awesome.  I think I could make Bimini and back in that thing, with a few yellowfin along the way.  Think so W?

I've been eying the solo version lately. But I can only dream at this point.

Last night I was out in my garage laminating some salvaged foam into a blank, to shape into an "ama." I hacked up an old surfboard that a large friend (300lbs+) of mine made years ago. I found it's brown and gouged carcass, abandoned and stripped of its glass, out behind my board-building friend's shaping room.  He was glad to see it go. Right now, the blank is about 7" wide, 5'6" long, and 6" thick.  The brown was only skin deep...underneath was white virgin foam. I still have to shape the ama, then glass it and retrofit struts. Then make some "akas" or cross bars, and maybe even concoct a leeboard assembly. Good fun in the garage!
This is my first attempt at this. Sort of a practice run.  If I'm successful, I have an old blank that I can make a thicker and longer ama from.

I haven't even gotten to test fly my Pacific Action Sail, yet. This may cause me to have to get a rudder kit, too.

I'll bet you could even fish for tuna out of Westport in one of those Adventure Islands, if you picked the right day when the fish were in closer.
