I sure like the price of the Body Pod at the Paddle Shack but it says the offer ended Dec 30, 2009.  Did you get yours after that?

I failed to read the fine print and so the gPod is out as I'm allergic to latex!  Same with the T3 & Mission.  That leaves it to the bPod and Tropos SuperNova.

Anyone else have suggestions?  Particularly on the noise factor with Mirage drive.

Tomas-

Have you considered just picking up a drypant to mate with your drytop?  I just ordered the Kokatat Tempest pant w/ socks from NRS to go with my top.  Significantly cheaper route than buying a full on drysuit when you already have half a system.  In the summer on lakes, I definitely just go the shorts and shirt route - sans dry gear.  I've jumped in on purpose to cool off... especially when on the eastern side of the state.

I didn't pay attention to the limited time offer. Yes, I bought mine mid Dec. I talked to the owner/operator of the place on the phone when I placed my order, and he/the shop sounds like the kind of guy/place that would sell you the suit at that same price if he has one in stock. Might be worth an email.

As mentioned before I have the Kokatat Supernova T3 with the neoprene neck gasket.  I've not noticed the fabric being noisy and I've now peddled a Revo for 18 hours over 2 days in 80F and calm winds.  I find the T3 breathes well, though I cannot compare it to other suits.  I suspect I would be quite comfortable in 90F with shorts, tee-shirt, and light socks under.   On Moses Lake a couple weeks ago the air temp was 80F, the water temp was 60F, and I had no fleece under the suit and was quite comfortable.  Once in the water and once the air had squeezed out of the suit, the water was cold pressing the suit tight against my body.

It is not easy dressing for immersion in the summer.  Luckily even on the hottest, calmest days on the salt, the water is cold, and close.

I do the same. Shorts and SS shirt under the suit to mid 70's. with the Gtex kokatat meridian I'm pretty comfy. If the water is over 64 I just where shorts and a light poly tishirt, no suit. the neo tube on my spray skirt, combined with the PFD are plenty if not too much insulation over my core organs. If it's sunny and 75 outside with 65 degree water, no suit. If it were 70 with 60 degree water, I'd wear the suit with light clothing underneath. 60 & 60 light fleece. less than 60 and 60 I'm wearing heavier fleece under.

I think the rule is, if air temp + water temp = less than 140, wear the suit. if air + water = greater than 140, no suit.
