Punta Colorada with Jim Sammons ... http://kayak4fish.com/baja_trips.shtml

This can be done DIY, but for the very reasonable cost that these trips are offered at, a little local knowledge to help get you up the learning curve quickly is probably money well spent.

A few years back myself and a bunch of friends took a trip with Jim.  We had a great time, some good fishing and Jim is an excellent and very professional guide.  We caught skip and yellowfin tuna, lots of dorado, a couple of sailfish and I had an interesting arguement with a hammerhead shark.  If you want to get in some exotic fishing without having to do a lot of grunt work, this is a great way to go.

Just back last night from our trip to Punta Colorada in Baja's East Cape. Didn't have time to write a full report but I wanted to share a few shots from the trip.
We had great conditions and caught and lost some real good fish including a hook and lost sailfish and BIG TUNA. We did manage to get some real good fish though, including what I think is a kayak fishing record tuna of 70 pounds, hooked, fought and landed from the kayak.
Great Trip and Great Group

Nice, Nice, Nice!!!

All this talk of dry suits lately and it's obvious the real solution is to just head south and fishing in shorts and a t-shirt!!!   :toothy4:

No, we are still on the Bohemia, we did get a nice new four stroke on it this trip though. That sure was nice and quite and less smoke. Made video tapeing much better.
