FOX vid clip of a National Geographic show premiering tonight with AMAZING fresh water fish to over 6' long and over 200lbs that have never been seen before!!!!!

wow :sleepy2: Guess they have not been up to Bonneville lately.

You know, I really think fishing is pretty exciting, but these shows with their dramatic build-ups just don't do it for me. Kinda like the Lebron show  :-\

I can do without the Mike Iconelli dance as he drags the fish over the gunwale so he can release and protect it.

I got very tired of Iaconelli acting like an ass when things got tough.  He's a guy I WOULDN'T want to fish with.

While I like the information in River Monsters, the hype and drama gets old fast, though the guy has patience.

Really?  I'd much rather fish with him than many of the conceded pricks in professional bass fishing.  Mike is largely misunderstood and is cast an outsider to the sport because he doesn't fit into the southern mould the vast majority fit into.  Compared to the temper tantrums a lot of the other guys on the tour throw when it gets bad, he's a teddy bear.

Aside from Ish and a few of the lesser known guys, I'd prefer to be on the other side of the lake from most of them.  Alton Jones would spend his whole day trying to convert me to christianity.  Skeet and KVD are cool, but too competitive to enjoy fishing with.  Clunn and Dance (ex-bassmaster) are just flat out a$$holes.

Mike and I have a love/hate relationship. He's cool but he's also kind of a prick at times.
