Hopefully I didn't respond to this too late.  I hope you're not going to try taking your kayak down the skokomish river.  Between 101 and 106 there are 10-20 nets as well as a log jam.  Below 106 there is a HUGE log jam, somewhat man-made.

Additionally, there are hundreds of guys drift fishing and running a kayak through there would just piss people off. 

Now if you're going to be paddling around in the estuary, that could be a good time!

Too late but that was ok. Dropped pots at potlatch state park and drove around exploring the mob scene. Ended up floating from 101 to 106 passing about 6 nice holes that had some nice fish on them. Since most fish are headed to purdy creek where we took out only passed three fisherman and two nets...

No fish but 5 keeper dungies.
