Hit the water later than planned (wife puts on makeup for the woods?  ???) Went fishing for lake trout, Never done it before just heard they like deep water. I tied on a Number 0 Bluefox (all silver) with a weighted Rudder, ten minutes of fishing Bam "get the camera i got a fish" My first lake trout!  it was a little over 16". Sadly it was the only fish of the day, i had alot of bites but didn't hook any :(.   Didn't lose any gear and had a good time. And did i say windy!!!

James: Good for you! Yes, Fourmile can get very windy -- so much so that it can be a challenge just launching or trailering a conventional boat. Something about being in the lee of Mount McLoughlin. Good to see a Trident on Southern Oregon waters.
