I built this rack out of galvanized pipe.  It works great and is very sturdy.  It clamps to the sides of the bed with angle iron.  Very easy on and off.  It should fit any smaller pickup.  The truck in the pic is a '94 Ford Ranger.  The pipe and fittings cost me about $100.  I'd like to get close to that, but I'm willing to deal.  PM or call if interested.
