Hook Removal

I don't know who died and left me the safety guy, but I saw this post on the hobie board and thought it would be useful here. I've witnessed, but not used these methods and these are some of the best (and most painful) illustrations of hook removal from people I have seen.

is it really that easy?

That video is great! I really like how it demonstrates how to remove a barbed hook. I always seem to get stuck to a hook that I have not yet pinched the barb on.
