I was a little south of Telegraph cove... Naka Creek/Eve River. It is about an hour north of Campbell R and then 45min logging road (well graded) to Naka Cr. They (BC government) will be turning Naka creek into a full blown Rec site but it was a well kept secret for quite a while. Pinks were jumping all over hell and a few Sockeye, coho and Kings/Springs to be had as well. The pinks were being landed from shore and they were catching the rest trolling hootchies and anchovies.

The whales are there regularly.

Here's a pic that my neighbors took. I didn't even know she had taken any pix but she just sent me this today... I fought him for about an hour and then cut the line...yeah right !!! I didn't even try for him, I knew my net couldn't handle it !!!

Hey Pisco, we'll see you on the next one. This weather is great so maybe sooner than later.

Cheers,
Snag

I Just caught the one. I should have been fishing from shore as one lady caught 3 pinks in an hour with a buzz bomb with two barbs/hooks broken off the trebble hook to avoid snags. Man was she excited.
