The weather couldn't have been better this weekend.  There was virtually no wind at all the entire weekend and the temps were great in the mid 70s.  (Chelan is usually very windy)   With it being so late in the season, there were never more than 3 PBs within site either.  Really, conditions were pretty perfect.

Unfortunately, fishing wasn't so great.  Partly, well mostly, due to my craptastic depthfinder, I'm unable to locate the fish, so I ended up jigging blind.  I went out Friday evening, nothing, Saturday morning, nothing, Saturday evening, nothing.  I was giving up Saturday around 6pm, figured "ok, I'll bounce the damn jig 5 more times then I'm paddling back"  Well, on my last bounce, FISH ON!  It was a skinny 18.5" Mackinaw.

I'll post pictures tonight - we had an awesome campsite and it was a full moon with no clouds too.  Nice relaxing trip.

At least the weather, paddling, and camping were nice. Not exactly how we envision all our trips but sealing it w/ the hail mary drop ain't a bad way to go!  ;)

Nice Mack Lee!

I might try doing some lake fishing soon. I've never done it yet, usually just bank fishing for trout and bass.
