Hey guys I want to pass along an awesome deal!
A coastguard buddy of mine got me a great deal on a really nice Mustang Dry suit. They are changing styles and the old suits are his to do with as he pleases. They are MSD575 suits in black.
Goretex with neoprene wrist and neck seals. The neck is adjustable to help vent off extra heat. These suits and bombproof!

Sh*t those are super nice man!   :o

You could paddle through a cactus patch while ninjas were chucking stars at you.

You sure wouldn't have to worry about the occasional wayward treble hook anymore.

You might have to change your handle to kevlarkladkayaker.  8)

How are you going to beat a $1000 suit for $300? Wish I had the extra cake laying around.  :'(

wow!  Talk about tight wrist gaskets---you'd have no feeling in your hands after about 3 minutes!

I'll give him a buzz and see what I can find for you. I love the suit! Might be a touch warm in the summer though.

In warmer temps a dip in the pool is definitely a must.  Rav and I were out Saturday in the wind and cold, and I was sweating really heavy paddling against that 20-25+ mph wind and waves.

I have never worn more than a thin base layer under the suit or just board shorts and running shirt. I have yet to use the swimming method as a way to cool down ... good call

In summer, when I'm mooching, I always side sideways with my legs  over the gunwale, keeps me cool.
