looks like a trident.....

i am going to be getting this yak http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_11151_10001_93620 in april and i was looking around and doesn't it look a lot like a trident with a different deck hatch and with out the thingy ma jig for the fish finder?

That boat is actually a lot more like a WS Tarpon 120. I think Perception and WS are owned by the same parent company. It's tough to beat the price, and I've known a few people in California that fish off of the same boat. The only down side is that they are a lot heavier than most other boats. This boat should satisfy the urge, but if you're still open to suggestions, you could probably pick up an OK Prowler 13 for the same price and end up with a lighter boat with a better reputation for quality and fishability.
