Still learning lessons..

I suck at getting fish to take a lure most of the time, so I'm 100% leashed.

I don't see the joy of ending the day with missing gear, and no fish to show for it.

Once my mojo changes, and I can get fish with some regularity, I may let up on what is leashed.   
Till then, I will continue to have all my gear come back to shore with me (minus snagged jigs and lures).

 

Roy losing his radio made a long day longer.  The current was pretty strong when we anchored and we ended up pretty far apart, so no BSing and fish tales to pass the time.
I ended up losing my anchor, spool, and 200' of line do to a bad knot.  Gotta remember to check the gear.

Yaksurf..... that kind of makes me think about a lost Key.

I don't know if y'all have ever noticed it, but the preface to most of my DAMHIK's is "the first thing I tell a newb who goes out with me is ......" and then whatever item that was on my boat says "look for me"
