I figured I would pass along what the Next Adventure specials are this week for Hobie kayak's at the Pacific Northwest Sportsman's Expo.
In my opinion, I think the "best deal" is any 2010 Hobie is $300 off or $1450 for a new Outback(3 left) or $1250 for the smaller Sport(6left), Outfitter(3 left) and an Adventure Island(1 left).
Or the second option is $200 off accessories with the purchase of a 2011 model(all models & colors avail). If your considering a Hobie in the near future, now is a great time to pick one up on sale. As you may know, Hobie's don't really go on sale very often. Nate and I worked the booth yesterday and place was packed most of the day. It amazing how many people we meet yesterday that have a story about seeing one of us NWKA'ers somewhere along the path catching fish.
Cheers!

See my post from last summer http://www.northwestkayakanglers.com/index.php/topic,5489.msg57248.html#msg57248 .  The show looks like it's got some great specials but knowing that Hobie brings in their new models in September, it's good to call around to Hobie Dealers and rentals to see what they are looking to get rid so they can bring in new inventory.  If you're willing to wait, you can get a good deal.  I bought two Pro Anglers last summer.

I got my 2010 Adventure at Next Adventure, $1700 was 300 off the 2011 price, and got nice deal on extras.  Lack of Sales Tax a big reason I bought in OR.  Very happy with NA service.

Hey Jammer,  Thanks and I'm glad I ran into the NxtAdv booth at the show.  Sure would be funny if I won the Outback at this years Depoe Bay Rockfish Classic.  What would I do with two?

Think I'll like this Outback much better for the Ocean than the Mirage Adventure I bought last year.  I may keep it for big lakes though.  Some of the places I go for Kokanee are way up lake arms.

Well I pulled the trigger today and put down some money on an 2011 Hobie Adventure at Next Adventure, hopefully I can pay it off and pick it up before the springers invade the Columbia in full force, or I'll be fishing from the Tarpon again . UMMM Pedals Good.  ;D
If it wasn't for flashbacks, I'd have no memories at all.

Good to hear, crazyeyes!  Let us know when you're going to get it wet!

That was a great show!  The Hobie boats turned a lot of heads!  Thanks to everyone who stopped by and said hello - it was awesome seeing some familiar faces.
