Looks like the forecast is shaping up nicely for saturday, Should be able to get out there, maybe for a lomg day of fishing

Thinkng about heading all the way down to Simpson Reef.

Launch around 8AM.

I'm still thinking of heading down on early Sat.  I'll let Roy know tomorrow night.
Sat could be a great day to be on  the water.

It could just be Epic. My plan is to pedaddle my butt down to Simpson Reef and argue over some territory with the big boy furbags that hang out there. This is where the big fish roam and we need to spend more time down there.

You could come down tomorrow night and crash here Dana. get an easy start to Saturday.

Dang... I gotta sit this one out.

Roy... you got me thinking about borrowing my sons airsoft gun to help with that argument! >:D

You didn't miss much. It was way to rough to even think about going to Simpson, couldn't get close to the good spots at all. Froze my ass off for a few KW points and barely enough fish for dinner for 1.


I don't think an airsoft gun is gomnna win too many arguments with the big boys.

It was a cold day on the water.  I caught 3 sculpins and that was it.  It was just rough enough to not be able to get to the good spots.  Any day on the water is better than sitting around the house.  Here are a few picks of the day.

It was a foraging day for me: 1 BRF, 1 greenling, 3 keeper Dungies, 12 mussels, 1 head of bull kelp. I was messing with my camera & erased the pics.  :-\
