Yeah, I am really hoping for nice ocean conditions next weekend as it looks like I'll have a chance to hit the water.  Even though we are quite a ways out it does not look good.

Unless you have lots of experience in reading water and some secret spot that can shield you from 30+kt south winds, the answer is NO.


Keep checking it though.  7 days is a lifetime for swell forecasting in Oregon.  3 days and you can trust the trends, 2 days and you have a general idea of what could happen.  1 day and you can make plans.
