I was wondering if Blake Island http://bit.ly/ijpLIX is a nice area?  I have a friend (yes, one) in Bremerton I'm trying to get into kayaking and was wondering if this would be a cool place to check out.  I come up several times a year and Summers almost here.

What about fishing there?  Would it be suitable for a group campout and fish-along?

Very nice camping, decent fishing in July/August for kings.  See this:

THere's  pretty good hold just north of the Southworth ferry dock, too.  Oddity:  The current in Colvos Passage is aways to the north, ebb or flood.
