Looks like I'll be moving up to the Seattle area, so thought I'd say "Hi". Just bought a SOT and haven't even got it wet, yet, now my work is taking me NW. I've canoed before and whitewater rafted the Arkansas River in Colorado, where I lived for 35 yrs but never kayaked. I've lived in the Seattle area before, for about a year back in 1980-81, loved it, kinda like the "Rockies" with water. Anyway, hope to make contact in about 2-3 wks.

Dood, Miami to Seattle ... be prepared for climate shock.  It's been a particularly wet and cold spring.

Welcome

What encouraged you to get a SOT?  What kind of fishing have you done in the past?

Hello. I hope you have a good time here. Are you on another Kayak forum? Paddle fishing? I read a lot of stuff and thought I seen your name there. Nice to meet you.
