My buddy Ralph and I took our new Hobie Mirage Outbacks out for the first time today. All i can say is, WOW! These things are awesome! Very roomy, stable, easy to use and fun.. I was pretty comfortable and was trolling in ten minutes. Even caught a little fish. Didn't have the camera at that time of course, cause i thought i would be wet. I stayed completely dry. Heres a pic of me on the blue outback and ralph is the other one.. Can't wait to get on the bay tomorrow, if its calm.

See Ya, Roy

See ya on the water..

Nice one CBY! Yep, they are a lot of fun. Just wait until you're fishing off these all the time... addictive! ;D I've had one for about a year and a half and there's a few others w/ Hobies so if you guys have any questions feel free to ask.

If fishing kayaks are the dark side, Hobies are sort of like Darth Vader's personal water toys.  Even other kayakers give you funny looks.

Congratulations on the boats!  I envy all the great places you've got down there to try em out.  Coho in Siltcoos?  Crabbing in the bay?  Bass fishing in Tenmile?  Nice problem to have.
