Hi,

My wife is proposing that I go on a solo fishing trip for my upcoming birthday so as a good husband I am doing what I am told.  I am thinking of a trip to Alaska or Baja.  I was searching online and saw that Rancho Leonardo in East Cape Baja has some package specials and that they now have a fleet of fishing kayaks (Hobie's) available to guests. Although I have been to East Cape many times I have never stayed at Ranch Leonardo. Anyone been to Rancho Leonardo? I have only gone to Baja in winter, spring or fall so I am wondering how brutaly hot it will be in August? Also wondering how big an issue hurricanes and tropical storms may be?

Thanks,

Thomas

August gets brutally hot.

Are you flexible on dates?  I have one open spot left on my October La Paz mothership trip.

Allen,

I am your man please PM me with the details.  Being the ultimate Northern European Gringo October is a much more palatable option to cash in on my wife's offer.  I am not so reluctant to fish out of La Paz since my ex-wife moved from La Paz to DC ;D.  The current wife informed me that my Birthday trip will be countered by a "girls gone wild" trip of her choice, ah the joys of marital bliss.
