Gentlefolk,

I have obtained a weekend pass from my wife and daddy duty and I'm going fishing! The coast is calling! T-bay, Pacific City, points beyond (well, not too far) ::D

 The ocean has laid down a bit and the bays and tidewaters sound like they're all fishing. I'm dragging my trailer, so if you're between Portland and the coast carpooling is a possible.  Heck, I've even got a spare boat that will ride with me regardless (that's the open seat);D. I know its short notice but here's a chance get your feet wet.  If I don't hear different from anyone, I think I'll head to Nestucca Bay.

Anybody up?

I so wish I was up in Portland already (3 more weeks).  Can't wait to read your report when you get back.

I'll probably be up for it, but will have to check with my social director. Either the Nestucca or Salmon R. sound good to me.

Its on pecawn.

Meeting Wannabe @ 6 in the morning at Pacific City. I'm planning to spend the night and fish Sunday too. Still have a boat to spare, speak up if your interested.

 B: The fish should still be here when you are. I'll post a report.

Too bad I work weekends. ;(  Oh, and that my skills are too low for anything short of lakes. ;)

Phynix: You over rate this trip. If you can sit in the boat, paddle, and hold a rod, then you have enuf skills for today ;D

Fishesfrom;
I snoozed and loosed again....havent been on the site for a few days.  I need to go to PC to pick up my Revolution and really would have enjoyed getting a lesson on the how to from you and Wannabe.

Mike tells me it is all shined up and sitting in the rack for me and I have most of the hay in the barn and the rams are with the ewes....time to go fishing.

Give me a bump next time you get a pass.  If you think it will be soon I will put off the trip to pick up the Rev.
Peace
Mike Mc

Grr... been so busy with work I didn't check this board last week!  Would loved to have joined you for some tidewater fishing today!

I fished Tilly bay and the ocean just outside the jaws yesterday via a powerboat.  Was a guided trip (gift from the wife) with Bob Rees (great guy).  I only had one drive by with no fish to show for it, but we had 3 ocean bright chinook for the boat, and 3 or 4 more hookups and losses, as well as 1 jack.  Weather was beautiful.

Of course, I'd rather be fishing today than doing honey-dos.  Next weekend?
