Cograts to all. Wish I could have been there to fish and meet you all. Looks like you all had a great time. Hopefully next year. Ohbryant is right. How about a salmon or rockfish tournament in the Straights of Juan de Fuca around July or August in the future. Come on Zee, Polepole, Spot & Wa. yakkers. Get 'er done.

That is correct

Those guys do enough. Always the MBF option. Pick a place and time, get some beer, somebody will show up to fish with ya. Summer in the Straights is tempting.

Some of the best kayak fishing tournaments on the west coast started as informal gatherings.  If someone wants to lead the charge, I'll help in the background as best I can.

Wow didn't realize that. ANother little factoid hasn't a Portlander won the ORC every year now. I would say homefield definetly pays off except i don't think any of the winners had fished that body of water before, well Mark probably had.

Homefield does help. It's pretty amazing how a species' behavior can differ so much from location to location. I was the only one to rep WA in the top 10?

I smell a Hobuck adventure!
Launch straight out of camp and tons of GREAT fishing that is hardly touched by PBs. I would be willing to bet we wouldn't even see a PB with in a mile.
First week of September? Who is in?
Surf launch required =)
