I have this model and also used it's precursor, the VHF50, for years.  It's held up well for me and I have no complaints.

Looks like they dropped the price to $99.99.  The older VHF50 I have (3 years old and WELL used) finally crapped out on my, so looks like I'll be ordering a new one of these.
