Thanks Sequim Salty

I was the guy that contacted Doug (Sequim Salty) about selling his dry suit separate from the package he was offering. I set out to buy a drysuit and ended up with about half his gear (drysuit, kayak, paddle, seat, PFD, GPS-Fishfinder, wheeleez, assorted accessories) because the deal was too good to pass up. I took the "new/used" yak out yesterday for my inaugural trip to optimistically "christen" it with a salmon. I launched from Edmonds (Marina Park) but only managed a half a dozen flounder and couple of rockfish. The pix show one of the flounder and the view from my "new seat." I have been using waders and splash jacket and have finally joined the drysuit set thanks to a good deal from Doug. So thanks Sequim Salty for the equipment upgrade and you all can look for a Malibu X-Factor appearing for sale in the classifieds real soon.

Sure didn't take you long to christen the yak. the thing i will miss as much as anything is the connection to this forum. the moderators do a great job of keeping things friendly and it is a great place to learn. thanks all and happy fishing. doug
