Just my luck!

I get myself all wrapped up into preparing to hit the Southeastern corner of the Oregon desert for two+ weeks for a change of scenery, and the damn ocean goes flat right when I am in the downhill pull before my trip.  I absolutely don't have time to squeeze in a round of rock fish golf before hand, as I still have tons of stuff to prepare before hitting the road.  I've never been to that section of Oregon and it has been pulling on me to go for over a year now.  My boy and I are taking the tandem kayak to hit a few lakes with, metal detectors, pellet guns, and sun stone searching tools.  We plan to hit Christmas Valley/Fort Rock/Crack in the Ground/Big Hole in the Gound, Virgin Valley hot springs (Nevada), Willow Creek hot springs, Alvord hot springs, Fish Lake, Hart Mtn hot springs, Fisher hot springs, and Summer Lake hot springs.  Kinda have a rolling theme, huh?

ll you folks that have the rest of August to hit the salt I wanna see some detailed trip reports with pics and video when I get back, so I know the ocean wasn't left in vein!
