Over much of Puget Sound the WDFW regs state: "Daily limit 2 (combined) plus 2 additional PINK."

To me this means I can come home with 4 pinks, and no other salmon.  Yes, no?

That's how I read the regulation.  Also found this: Pink salmon return to Puget Sound

I read it as 4.

In general, how do the pinks hit the Sound - from N to S or the other way around? It seems to me that they are down south and not on the North end. Either we missed them or they are on their way:)

We tend to kill them around Browns Point in Tacoma. They have to come in from the north, but not sure where you target them up there.

I'm sure it has more to do with where they are headed and not where they are coming from. I guess I've been hearing all this talk about all these pinks coming down from Canada and I assumed they would pass by here first. Hearing that the fishing is better down south has changed that somewhat:)

I called wdfw 2 yrs ago to get it straight.  In are 6 today I can keep 2 hatchery kings or coho  or 1 of each plus 2 pinks, tomorrow only 2 coho plus 2 pinks or 4 pinks, or 1 hatchery coho plus 3 pinks.  There is a number you can call and the guy will get back to you.  I told him when he called that I needed an attorney to understand the regs, his reply was, "you need a whole firm of attorneys".

I launched out of dash point on Saturday and fishing was pretty slow, maybe saw 12-18 fish taken all day, I hooked up once and had a long distance release, fishing buzz bombs and pink jigs. My brother in law slayed two with his fly rod, one Crome bright hen, and a buck that gave him a run for his money with 15 minute fight.
If it wasn't for flashbacks, I'd have no memories at all.
