Awesome guys.  How far offshore to get to those depths? Were you using down riggers, or just a lot of weight?

Looks like we were about 4 and change out there. I was using 10 and 12 oz, with my jigging rod. Has a little more backbone then my salmon stick.

That was a lot of fun guys! I've still been playing around with the new GoPro and put together a little flick with some highlights of the days events. Notice the big fish that broke off at the end? I had my drag set WAY to tight. Thanks again Paddler and Banger for hangin!! The hard part about last night was what to eat for dinner.....Salmon or Ling Cod. The family decided unanimously for Salmon..
Cheers!

ps....It should open in HD. If not click on bottom menu bar

First off awesome job!  Way to find the fish!  You guys rocked it!

Secondly I want to apologize for getting separated from you guys.  I headed off to the gps cords of where I had caught fish my last trip out and although I tried to keep a visual on you guys I lost you and regret not being able to cross paths on the water after that. I made it as far west as 250ish but I think I was a bit North of you, I trolled South looking for your flags but never saw you.  I should have stayed with the group since not only did you find the fish but you're both great guys to fish with, again I apologize.

Lingbanger.. I don't get why he left your ticket?  I told him specifically "Black Toyota and  Full size dodge with canopy" and pointed to both of them and he nodded and was headed that way.

Jammer... watching the vid it looks like I owe you an extra apology since it was my mooching rig that broke loosing you that fish :'(    (it was suffix 25lb floro so it must have been a decent coho or maybe a nook?)

Paddler....No apology needed. You can clearly see in the video that my drag is set WAY TO TIGHT!! The fish almost ripped my rod right out of my rod holder when it hit..
