Prowler 13 front rod holder options?

Hi,

Heading down to Mexico the end of the month for a mothership yak fish trip and am trying to figure out if I could temporarily mount a rod holder in front of the cockpit.  I have made a temporary mount which is composed of a piece of sealed marine plywood with a couple of Scotty mounts attached. I strap the board to the deck via deck bungies or straps and have done this on a variety of yaks while traveling.  I have not paddled a Prowler 13 but have seen some pictures on line.  It looks like there are some lines on each side of the boat runing fore and aft.  Are these lines on all Prowler 13's?  Do you think I could attch my rod mount board by running the straps through these lines?  Would I still be able to reach the rods or do you think they would be too far forward?

The question was answered in email.  Answer:  just bring a Scotty base and install it on the kayak, then leave it installed when you're all done.
