I am a newbie to kayak fishing.  I bought a Pro Angler over labor day and have spent the past month or so rigging it and trying my hand at catching salmon.  I have run into a few of you on the water off Shilshole and on the Snohomish and you have all been very helpful and welcoming.
I hope to be an active member on the forum and competing in AOTY 2012.
I am going to install an anchor trolley tomorrow (thanks to all the posts on here) and hope to try it out on the Snohomish on Thursday.

Thanks for all the support

Wellcome Dwalk
These are a great bunch that are very dedicated to fishing out of a Yak. There is a ton to learn here as I am fairly new to the list and kayak fishing and my head is always pounding from all the information from this site. I will be looking forward to your posts up north.

Welcome to the cure dwalk!

I know there's a lot of information available but don't forget to have fun while you're here.  ;D

You didn't happen to buy your kayak set up from NA at the Outdoor Sportmans Expo this year did you??
I remember somebody buying that very combo. Have fun!

Jammer: Next Adventure is awesome and they provide great customer service.  I didn't go to the show but found them through this site.

Ndogg: I had luck with Pink Salmon both in the Sound and up on the Skykomish river.  I skunked this past Saturday on the Snohomish, it was a bit of a zoo out there.  I am going to target Coho on the Snohomish again later this week and hopefully won't have so many other boats and and shore fisherman.

Welcome aboard dwalk!

Just a reminder, AOTY is human powered only, no sails and no motors.

I'm looking forward to your review of the Evolve, it's always cool to see different rigging.
