I thought I give an update. not worthy to start a new thread.  Bought my Pro Angler used in the Bay area.   gone out 5 times already, of which I got SKUNKED 3 times.  fishing is all new to me, though I've been skunked, I loved every minute in the water!

Next year will be a better year, this year, I am hoping to learn Kayaking, and rigging my Kayak.  Anchor Trolley on my to do list.

Installed a Fish Finder, Eagle 300.  Works great for dept, but I think it reads every little bubble as a fish, or may be there are fishes down there!

I've met a few people from here a few times.

2 of my co-workers are thinking of getting into Kayak fishing.  Be great, Love to go to Eastern Oregon, and make a trip down to California to fish in the future.

Sorry it's just rambling....  I'll make a separate thread/topic if and when I have some good to share.

Smallmouth from Willamette Park.

My Truck and Pro Angler.

By Far the worst purchase, great for Bass fishing but not much else.  I can't seem to cast farther than 15 yeards, even with very heavy weights.  I may need a shorter Baitcasting Rod!

Sorry Can't recall the name of the boat Ramp, Milwaukie, Oregon, Elk Island.

How do you like the Pro Angler? Just curious why you decided on the PA instead of the outback. It just seems like such a barge to move around both in and out of the water and the outback is stable enough for nearly every fishing situation IMO. Do you stand up and cast?

Nice pics btw

7 inch small mouth off Willamette Park, probably one of my best fishing days, thus far.
Hopefully some day I get back into Kayak fishing, for now.  Gotta focus on Life.

My 1st intent was to do some Fly fishing off a Kayak.  I wanted stability, so I thought a PA would fit better, and it does.  I do stand up and cast, standing up and casting for smallies is fun!

IT is PITA to carry around, but once in the water, like any Kayak it moves with easy.   I am in the process of building a stabler truck Rack for my track, though it will still look weird having 6 feet of the Kayak sticking out of the truck, as long as it's secure, safe, and Leagal.   I can car top this thing, though it's 88#, it's more after I have other accessories installed.

I love Kayak fishing soo much,  I see a 2nd Kayak in the future.  If not a Revo, it'd be a Kayak with a trolling motor. :), but definitely a smaller Kayak.

I love the Pro Angler,  I'll give it a try to see if I can keep up with the boys in the Sea next year, if not.  I'll to to get  the Revo.
