Sailing Rudder Size

Hi All,
So I am thinking about getting the sail rudder for my new oasis but I am curious how much longer the sail rudder is than the standard rudder?  With the limited storage behind the rear seat on the Oasis I am nervous that I will be limiting the small amount of storage behind the rear seat and basically making it unusable.  Any thoughts on this?  Maybe some ideas for small storage spaces?

standard rudder is 11 1/4 inches by 5 3/8 inches.
Sailing rudders is 14 1/2 by 7 1/2 inches.

I don't thing the length will change much on the storage.

If you have a new Oasis, it already has the "sailing" rudder. I don't know when they made it standard for the Oasis - mine is a 2011, and came with it. My rudder comes up to the rear shock cord in the well. I can just get the tip under the cord, which helps during transport.
