I have a used Zebco Z/300 mooching reel that is right-hand crank only. I thought it was reversible, but alas, 'tis not to be. It functions perfectly and is a beaut of a reel even though there's a bit of cosmetic rub on the housing.

The amount of mono you can put on this reel is incredible: 950 yards of 15 lb test? 550 yards of 25 lb test? Who puts that much line on a reel? You'd think it was a huge reel to do this but it only measures 4 1/2 inches across and has a 1:1 line to reel ratio. Looks like a beefy fly reel. I'd fish it on my Shimano rods for Springers except for the fact that I reel in with my left hand and not my right. I need to pick up a lefty sometime soon.

If you want to turn heads on the river, this is the reel to do it; it's a definite chick-magnet too. When I first purchased it, I think my wife's exact words were, "What the Hell is that?" - She can vouch for me.

Send me a message if you're interested.
