Given that we just had the Sportsman's Show a couple weeks ago, the NA team thought it would be a good idea to have another intro to kayak fishing seminar for the people introduced to kayak fishing at the show and the people getting geared up for the spring.

We'll cover all the basics to get you into the sport and take the edge off of the learning curve.  Topics will include safety, equipment and rigging, basic techniques for popular species and more.

Location: Next Adventure Paddle Sports Center (SE 7th & Washington)
Date & Time: March 7th, 7pm-9pm.

I'll update with more details as we get closer.  Hope to see you there!

Please let us know if you're coming so we can have enough pizza and beer.

Having just begun my journey into this life changing activity... no that's not right... having become addicted to this lifestyle, yeah that seems right, I will definitely be there.

Will this also count as the PDX meetup for March? Should I ask the HOW guys to show?

I want to go, but I don't think I will be back from San Fran early enough.

Will it be OK for the HOW guys to take 5-10 minutes to explain their mission and see how NWKA can get involved helping our Heroes get on the water?

Absolutely!
Have the guys from HOW come to the clinic and well put them on at the end.

I'm gonna drive down for this.  I am looking forward to meeting some of you.  If you want to carpool with me from the Oly area, I am happy to drive.  I am going to leave about 4pm to head down and leave to come back right after.  Late night, but I think it will be well worth it :)
