Hmmmm....If I was looking for a Revo, I would be heading to Next Adventure right about now.

If Zee hadn't been selling his Adventure, I may have considered saving myself a few hundred on a demo/rental Revo there. Although, I prefer the Adventure.

There was some great gear for sale.  I grabbed three ShamWows! One for my wife because our anniversary is coming up.  I know ladies...but forget it, I'm taken.  Anyways, I though they would come in handy on the yak. At $2.99 for the large ones I figured I couldn't go wrong.  They had some nice Wool and fleece hats with the ear flaps a la Noah for $4.99.

I got a couple flasks for $0.99.  The girl at the cash register is quite the saleswoman.  She got me twice.  After my wife saw the cap, she wanted one too. Therefore, I had to run back in and the cashier convinced me I needed the second flask.  Now since I have two,  I can have martinis instead of beer when I'm sturgeon fishing.  I figure I can use the ice from the bait cooler.  Oh, and since I got my wife the hat along with the ShamWow, the anniversary gift is definitely covered.

I tried last night,
"Do you mind if I buy another kayak?"
"You already have three kayaks, why do you need another one?"
"Well, this one is bigger, nicer, has more room, and is safer (threw that one in to really sell it!)."
"So your current kayaks aren't safe?"
Doh!
"Ummm.......no, they're both safe."
"So you don't really need another one."
:whip2:

Thanks for playing, nice try, your consolation prize is at the door.  No, we don't validate parking, sorry.  ;D

Let me ask the the WA yakkers out there.  If there was a yak fishing store in WA where would the best location be?  I'm think Everett is too north and Tacoma being to south.  Seattle is out of the question with exorbitant lease spaces.  I know of Northwest Hobie and the other stores on lake union which leave a lot to be desired if your goal is to fish the northwest.  Fishnut can attest that the new Cabelas in Marysville will hurt a lot of the smaller local stores but I'm thinking that a yak fishing store just might be the ticket in surviving the storm if opened south of Cabelas and north of the Lacy store.  Your thoughts please!!!

So, I didn't make it to the NA sale afterall. Did someone from the NWKA forum get the Hobie Outback, or did it so to a stranger?

Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Noah, didn't you just go through a laundry list of pain regarding a shopping spree from hell with her?
Didn't she teach you that things have to match.  Shoulda told her you need the kayak because it matches the color of a certain lure you use.  She would have completely understood and even helped you load it onto your car.  8)

For those that missed this great little story.  ;D
