GoPro mounting techniques

My son just got me a GoPro Hero 2.  There is a god....
I'm looking for ideas from others on how they have mounted the camera to their kayaks.  Anyone tried the Scotty pole mount?

I've also heard of people using the handlebar mount on the metal Scotty extension poles.

Here's what I'm using currently. I'm trying to make it lighter, but this does the job great for now. I just took an old aluminum handle from a busted net and attached the camera using the handle bar accessory from GoPro at one end and attached it to a Ram revolution rod holder on the other end. Base mount is a Ram 1.5" ball mount. Cool thing is I have 3 ball mounts attached in various spots on my kayak for other accessories, which gives me a ton of opportunity for different camera angles. I'll be playing with some more options soon and post more later.

Scotty has a camera mount design for the GoPro.. cheap 20ish bucks... I mounted mine in a flushmount on the very front of my boat... gives a godd wide view and keeps it moveable to other spots on my boat

I just made a simple 2.5 foot 1/2 inch (or is it 3/4??) pvc pipe with end cap and a 1/4-20 thread bolt sticking through.  I have a threaded GoPro tripod mount on the camera housing.  This will fit in a Scotty mount, or in the mast mount on a Hobie.  It works great for glory shots and filming the landing of fish.  Here is an example of a shot you can pull from the video:

Thanks everyone for the great ideas.  We have a very creative group that seems to always come up with many  solutions.
I have a temporary install for today as I'm headed to Tualatin Aquatics Center to practice self rescue.  Will post some pics if the temporary camera location works.
