I purchased this boat 2 years ago and have used it only a handful of times each of the past two summers. My wife and I have a standard day touring boat also, and this just doesn't keep up as well.

I know there are many people on here who might be interested in getting into a boat. So, I'm looking to off my boat so I can pick up another day touring kayak.

The boat is nearly bone stock, has the two standard rod holders, the GPS console w/battery bag, and has a single Scotty mount drilled in next to the GPS console. The boat has only seen salmon blood once, and has been stored under my carport off the ground.

Asking $800. Located in Des Moines

now, here is a good deal for someone who wants a very good fishing yak with good all around stability, can handle large water, is athome on big blue with reasonable swells, and even some smaller fast water. plus, it's easily customizable.

Well, I might consider a trade, not sure at this point, but might.  Have a more used touring kayak, Current Design Solstice GTS very nice boat but I mostly fish, was wanting a bit more than 800 for it though around 1100, somewhat negotiable.  I love the boat but it doesn't see much use, here are a couple pics, it could use a bit of gelcoat and bulkead seal but it is solid.  Like I say, not sure about letting it go for a trade.  Has a rudder and sells new for about 3500.

To be honest, the Current Design is probably more boat than I need. Fiberglass is nice, but plastic is easier to take care of and it takes the rocky shores better. We only get out a couple times a year so the cheaper plastic 14-15ft day tour boats work better for us.

well im thinking it is in washington but you may be correct ?, Des Moines is a little town on the puget sound west of kent washington.
My biggest worry is that my wife (when I'm dead) will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it.

Definitely not in Iowa. Wascaly is correct, west of Kent on the Puget Sound in Washington

I figured it was probably in Washington, but lately we have had some people posting stuff for sale from out of the region.  I guess I should have Googled it before posting.
