Thinking of launching at Memaloose Point on Saturday and paddling up whichever river looks the best.  I'm guessing that at least the Kilchis will be cleaned up by then.  If you'd like to join me feel free to post or PM me.  I'm thinking there might still be a few salmon heading up from the bay still, but I might be too late.

I can't do Sat, but I think I am going to be in that general area on Sunday.

I have not fished up that far on the bay yet, but I am curious to hear how it goes.

I was there last weekend, and fish were still being caught at Bay City, and outside the jaws, so in my extremely inexperienced opinion, I would say you have a decent shot if the rivers look good.

Pm me if you are going to be around Sunday too.

I would much rather be up a creek without a paddle than down one.

Well, we had a lot of fun paddling around out there today.  Went up one arm of the Wilson and back down another. Fished the Kilchis as well, but alas no luck. Marked plenty of fish that were not looking for their last meal.  As always with salmon fishing my expectations of catching one were low so it still felt like a good trip nonetheless.  The upper bay and the lower reaches of those rivers are really beautiful and serene.  Also the ODFW guy said only two of eight boats had fish, so we were about average.
Think I'll stay home tomorrow, but wouldn't discourage anyone that can enjoy the pure beauty of the place.
