Well it started a couple of minutes ago, and I'm no where near Delta Park, so I guess I'll try and catch the next one. :-(

I'll do my best to get there. If I tell my wife its about walleye she'll kick me out the door, throw keys at me to make sure I get there on time. I went on a guided trip with Dick O'Brien in the '93 and she still talks about how good the walleye was that I caught. Have any of you guys used stick baits behind a Hobie yet?

I use walleye stick baits and had great luck with them...for small mouth bass.  I was targeting walleye, but the bass kept grabbing them.  What is nice about the hands free trolling of stick baits with the Hobie is you can hold the rod and feel them tapping the bottom.  If your fish finder shows the water getting shallower, or a rock is sticking up, you just lift the rod up higher until you are beyond the obstruction or are in deeper water.  I am a control freak and can never seem to put my rod in a rod holder.  I rarely ever bring one.
