Hey GD,

Is Cape Kiwanda too far north for you?  Don't know when yet but I'll be there tomorrow.

Sunset Bay report,, Doable weather but gusty s wind, hard to hold on a spot.       Tough conditions for a old guy. Bite was off, lots of short strikers.  Kept one nice black, returned underling and several sea trout. Seemed to be lots of greenling. royg

AMB, Sunset is a day trip for me at 1 1/4 hour drive. Cape Kiwanda is closer to a 3 hour drive, although I would love to fish there again. I will be fishing at Sunset in the morning, can't wait!. Good luck and catch a big whatever!

BT, nice talking to you today. Old guy! not in my vocabulary! Hope you can make it down tomorrow, if not to fish, than to say hi!

It was a beautiful day Tuesday to fish Sunset Bay. I arrived about 8:30am to find Roy getting ready to launch. After getting on the water, we fished on the inside for a while, where I caught 2 blacks. We then went to the outside, where there were lots of bites, but the only fish caught was a small black by Roy. Blue Trident showed up and we all fished outside for awhile, and he caught an underling. Decided to try fishing back on the inside, and I got one more Black. Roy got a nice black, and BT got a nice ling, right next to me. I got a good photo of him with it. Roy and I left about noon, but BT stayed and it sounds like he became the angler of the day. It was nice meeting, and fishing with you BT. I'll stick closer to you next time, since you know where those lings hide out! Also, a big thanks to Roy for adding his only black to my goodie bag. Thanks also for the bonker, it was very nice of you. Now when I get a big ling, I will be able to dispatch him in style!

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain

Nice fish fellows, that's sweet spot you've got down south.
