For all who are not fishing this weekend or you lurkers out there in internet world with an interest in kayak fishing, the Northwest Paddling festival is this Saturday May 12 at Lake Sammamish state park.

Normally a separate event, this year it was combined with REI's spring demo day.  So there will be plenty of kayaks to demo in addition to what REI sells.  Also plenty of gear from lots of venders to check out.  Great opportunity to compare all the different kayak brands in one place.  www.northwestpaddlingfestival.com.

I would have been there to fulfill some JK duties, but couldn't get the time off of work to attend. Hope you all have fun out there! Definitely check out some the new kayaks...
