Next Adventure Summer Splash June 2nd, 2012

Those Next Adventure guys seem to be slacking so I'll bring it up...

The 2012 Next Adventure Paddle Demo / Summer Splash event is right around the corner on June 2nd.  Come on down to the Sellwood Riverfront Park and demo some new kayaks, participate in a class, or just talk to some industry reps.

Seems like playing at Sellwood would be high on Jake's list!!  And now he can have some company!!

I was not able to get a complete list of fishing kayaks that will be available for demo, but I do have a few details.

From Ocean Kayak, there will be a mix of tetras, prowlers, tridents, including a trident ultra, Malibus, and maybe even a Venus for the ladies.

From Hobie there will be a sport, outback, revo 11, revo 13, outfitter, oasis, adventure island, tandem island, a pro angler and an inflatable.
There will be a Pro Angler 12 on display, the demo boat has not shown up yet but there will be one sometime this summer.   

There should be some other SOT's and a lot of SINKS to too. 

Also, if you are interested in signing the ballot initiative to ban gill nets on the lower Columbia I have some forms and the CCA is planning on having a booth there. 

Nate, can you bring those petitions to ORC?

I will have them there, but only for Oregon residents can sign them. 

Remember: Today is Demo day at Sellwood Park. If you've ever wanted to demo or try any of Hobie's or Ocean Kayak's products, today is your day. Hope to see some of you guys down there.
