So I ordered/received a new Dry Top from the www.KayakShed.com (thanks Derek).  After trying it on the first time my face went purple and the veins in my hands started bulging out.  I should have taken a picture. lol

I looked up what to do about it and everybody recommended trying to stretch the gaskets before taking a knife to them.  This is what I cam up with.

If I don't wear this very often, will I need to re-stretch the gaskets before using them or should they stay stretched out?

www.kayakshed.com was also nice enough to toss in a couple decals for the yak. :P

Here's something polepole posted about neck gaskets a while ago.

If you're really concerned with the neck gasket on a dry suit, ask Barb at Kayak Academy about their "neck spacers".  Basically a tube ring that holds the gasket away from your neck.  In inclement weather or in an emergency, it's a quick tug on the neck and the gasket pops off and chokes you, uh , I mean cinches on your neck like it is supposed to.  Pretty neat device that I use all the time.

thanks Spot, but I think mine would choke me to death before I could self rescue.  I might still look into it though.

Until my neck gasket recently ripped and my dry suit became a semi-dri with only the neoprene left, I used one of those.  They are awesome.  They stretch it out while you are wearing it and warming it up so if you need to pull it on, it is more comfortable.  What I did was wear it with the gasket semi- tight around my neck.  I have an extra brand new one I can bring to the ORC.  I can show you what I mean and you can try before you buy If you want.
