What is this Hobie part?

After I washed down the inside and outside of my Revo I found this part on the ground. I'm 90% sure it came out of the boat after I flipped it over.  Could someone tell me what it is and where it goes?

(spare) Rudder pin hold the rudder to the hull. They fit on the bottom of the twist n seals.

That's the rudder pin.  The "C" at the top (the bottom in your pic) is where the rudder up/down lines run thru.

If you open your center hatch, there's a little clip for this pin on the inside.  It probably fell out of there.

These things are designed to break whenever there's too much stress on the rudder when it's locked in the down position, like running over kelp or hitting ground in shallow water. You'll definitely want to have one of these handy.  My ass has been saved more than once by having a spare one on the water!

Changing them on the water is always a good time.
