It looks like we may have a sitter for baby Eve on Saturday which means Toots may be able to finally break in her new Tarpon 120! I've wanted to take her shad fishing for a few years now because they are awesome fighters and just fun to catch and release. I've always fished for them off a powerboat in the Columbia, but never in a kayak. Does anyone have any ideas on some calmer waters to fish for shad out of a kayak?
Oh and this is an open invitation if anyone wants to just go play around with some shad, you're more than welcome to come with :)
Thanks!
