I purchased one of the Talon mounts for my FF (I don't recommend this) and have seen some corrosion on my FF electronics connections.  Do you know of anything to clean this up?

A quick dip in Tarn-X, followed by thorough cold water rinse. Then ample blobs of dielectric grease.

I used this product for a few years extensively on aircraft and boat engines exposed to salt water conditions (immersion). With this you'd be best to use a small amount after each big exposure to salt water. It does work very well with electrical connections as well, for cleaning them out. Not only use it as a cleaner, but you can leave it on the things your cleaning, and it will leave a thin film layer on for protection.

I've not used CorrosionX as a cleaner nor as an electrical protectant, but have used it extensively as a metal protectant.  It does work.  Nick, are you suggesting spraying a bit on the electrical contacts for a FF/GPS head?  This would be great - and easy!

Yes, we used it alot, especially on connectors on aircraft that got submerged in saltwater from time to time. I also used it on every electrical connection on my old jet ski, and used the stuff to coat the entire engine. I was able to sell the machine for top dollar, as the engine maintained a "brand new" look at all times due to the stuff. If you have some very bad invase corrosion already on a part though, You might want to use another product first to really get the nastiness out if your contacts are badly corroded. And then use this on connectors on your boat. Just spray it directly onto a connector and plug it in.

This is the specific product I used most of the time: I'm not sure if aviation grade means its better, But I am assuming that it might be, Cause I bought it and used a ton on parts exposed to salt water! But I did notice on the main site, that the red can of corrosionx specifically states its good to go for electronics.
"CorrosionX is present on metal, it can't rust or corrode! CorrosionX also has a dielectric characteristic, so it's safe on electronics and completely shuts down electrolysis between dissimilar metals."
