Got the last one at TheDigitalOasis.com.  $186.83 shipped.

Hopefully it'll get here around the same time as the blue-brick Li-ion battery and waterproof 2-pin connectorts.

Then we'll see about getting it set up and tuned.

I've got this DF and loved being able to see fish arcs while fishing ORC this year. I normally felt no need for GPS until The fog rolled in and was glad to have it. I do recommend if you are shooting thru hull that you spend another $80 for the puck transducer. Once I replaced my transducer the ability to see whats under my kayak was much improved.

Anyone using the transom-mount ducer this ships with on an OK?  Wondering if it'll fit in the "transducer compatible" scupper.  If not how are you mounting it?

Picked up the blue brick from the post office this morning.  It's smaller than I thought it would be.  FF is supposed to arrive on Monday, according to the tracking widget.  Not sure when the waterproof connectors will arrive - hopefully by Monday.

My Eagle Cuda 250 took a dump on me this year at ORC.  It worked the day before when tested, but was a no go at the boat launch.

In trying to troubleshoot the situation, it seemed easiest to buy a Lowrance Mark 4 FF and use that transducer and new wire plug with my Cuda 250 head.  Was told by factory service that this will work.  Somehow they also told me how to check the old pin harness connection with a VOM and it was fine too.  It also worked when put together a second time.

So now I have a backup transducer for the Cuda 250, and a new set up for my second kayak.

Remember to use some electric grease in the harness pin connector.  It will help protect the wire connectors from salt water corrosion.

Have fun with your new unit.

The waterproof connectors take the longest.

Got it yesterday.  The 2-pin connectors were in the mail box too.

Now I just need to make the mods so I can connect the battery, mount the fish-finder on the RAM mount, and mount the transducer.
