Hagg Puts Out

Took advantage of an 11th hour call from my kids to fish Hagg tonight.  Made it to the lake around 7:00PM.  The water's still high so I was able to launch in the cove.  This also meant that I didn't have to worry about getting locked behind a gate.
Trolled my way along the dam wall for trout and then switched over to pulling plastics.  On my third cast the rod burried and something substantial started swimming circles around the boat.  Sure glad I brought the net! This fatty taped at ove 17inches and was all of 3+lbs.
Fishing was fair to good all evening with very little powerboat traffic.  I tried some bigger stuff but the curley tail worms were the ticket.

Now to find that Largie....

Maybe next year.  This year, I just wanna catch some fish and have a good time.
